As I wrote in Always, Jessie, I suffered from eating disorders for many years and was blessed enough to overcome them with much help and support. However, I am not a professional counselor or eating disorder specialist. If you are also suffering and looking for guidance, please click the link for Eating Disorder Help. There are many resources and various types of support available for people suffering as well as family and friends. Many of those resources allow you to stay anonymous. My only regret in my journey is that I did not get help sooner, so I always encourage people to reach out, even when they don't feel like they're ready.
Help, information, and support are available on issues such as anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, food addiction, exercise addiction, and abuse survivors. I am not affiliated or associated with any of these organizations. The opinions or advice expressed on the websites are not necessarily the views of the author. However, I have made every effort to research and review the sites provided and many of them helped me throughout my own recovery.
